Hi! I’m Alex.

I am here to support and empower you during this transformative period and beyond…

My journey to become a doula consciously began when I was in attendance at Mills College, writing my thesis on the Black maternal health crisis and the positive impact Black birthworkers have on reducing this major disparity. I felt I needed to have a hands-on role in making birth safe and supportive for everyone, and began my training with Doula Trainings International in 2020 as a full-spectrum doula.

Looking back, my passion for pregnancy, birth and advocacy has been a constant in my life. Even at a young age, I was always tending to the babes and toddlers of my family and community.

It is my honor to be able to serve birthing people and their partners in Los Angeles, the city I was raised in. My approach to care is to provide you with knowledge and resources to make informed choices about your body, your birth, and your baby.
